This makes a total of £335 (including £35 VAT) for the first year, then £235/year (including £35 VAT) to renew in 12 months time.


Details

Membership of Mixing Business is for a minimum period of 12 months and commences on completion of the membership fees payable. Members that join Mixing Business instantly become Members of Mixing Pleasure.

Mixing Business Membership fees are payable by one annual payment in advance.

Share Issue

Shares will be issued in Mixing Business at a price of £1.00 each.

Details of Membership Costs

Individuals pay £200 (+VAT = £235) for membership of Mixing Business plus £100 (no VAT) for 100 shares in Mixing Business. Therefore, minimum cost would be £300 (+£35 VAT).

Corporates pay £300 (+VAT) for membership of Mixing Business with no share option.

Cancellation of Membership

Members can cancel their membership of Mixing Business after 12 months by not renewing.

Right To Cancel

Each member shall have 7 days from the time of application to cancel their membership subscription. Shares purchased are non refundable.

Members will get a discount at events - see events page for details

Event Fees

Fees for food, refreshments and events are separate to membership fees and are payable in advance. The price may vary from event to event, but will normally be in the region of £40-£50 (+VAT).

Event Fee Refund Policy
We recognise that unexpected business issues take precedence over networking events. Whilst we do not provide refunds of event fees, if you pre-pay for an event and then cannot attend just email us and we will be happy to credit you against future events for up to 90 days.

Excluded Disciplines

Those involved in Multi Level Marketing where attendance is to recruit.

Exclusivity of Disciplines

There is NO exclusivity of disciplines. Unlike other organisations who allow only one business from within a profession or discipline, we believe that having multiple business provides a richer networking experience, and one closer to real-life. Within the guidelines as described above all disciplines are welcome to join Mixing Business.

Additional Members in the Same Organisation

The following sliding scale of Membership Fees for additional Members from the same Organisation will apply. There will be a Maximum number of 5 Members from the same Organisation allowed.

1st Member – £300 (+VAT)

2nd Member – 10 % Discount off £300

3rd Member – 20 % Discount off £300

4th Member – 30 % Discount off £300

5th Member – Max 40 % Discount off £300

Colleagues from the Same Company

A maximum number of 2 members from the same Company may attend any event at the same time.

Right to Suspend

Mixing Business and Mixing Pleasure have the right to suspend any member who they believe has acted in a manner that brings Mixing Business or Mixing Pleasure into disrepute. In this case membership fees are non refundable.

Any decision to reinstate a member is solely at the discretion of the directors of Mixing Business.
